On Sunday 20th January a group of young people from Lesotho - Durham’s link diocese in Africa - visited St John's Church in Nevilles Cross Durham. Five young men and women and one of their leaders, all in their traditional dress, led the congregation in singing African songs of praise. They told their stories of coming to faith but also of poverty, the havoc HIV / Aids is wreaking on society, and the many children who are left in charge of a household.
