ALPHA at St John's Nevilles Cross
Is this it?
What’s it all about?
Who cares?
Is there more to life than this?
These are just some of the questions which feature in this year’s national publicity
campaign for the Alpha course. Thousands of people will be attending Alpha courses in the next few weeks in over 7000 venues all over the country to discuss questions such as these – and this autumn people in Nevilles Cross have the opportunity to join in
We are holding an Alpha course at St John’s over 10 Wednesday evenings, starting
in October. Alpha provides an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed
setting, via a series of thought provoking talks, followed by a time of questions and
discussion in small groups. Each evening will start at 7pm with a meal.

Alpha is a place to listen, to ask and to discover. You can ask anything you like – no question is too stupid or too profound. The Alpha course is designed primarily for people who are not regular churchgoers, or who have recently started coming (or coming back) to church. But it is also appropriate for people who do attend church frequently, who maybe feel that they have reached a stage in their Christian journey where they want to re-examine some of the basics of the Christian faith.
Sorry, the course is now so far in that it's not possible for you to join. But if you're interested, get in touch with us anyway (contact details in next paragraph), so we can let you know when the next course is arranged.
So if you’ve not done Alpha before and you think you might be interested why not come along?
