Hello and welcome to St John’s church, Neville’s Cross, Durham! To find out more about who we are, what we believe, and what goes on in our church life and community, just click on the links above. (“About Us” is a pretty good place to start!)
Details about how to contact us, or find the church, are here (and at the bottom of every page). Please do get in touch with any enquiries.
A quick note to say that this website is in the process of being updated, so if any information is out of date, or links don’t quite work, our apologies – we’re working on that!
Ecofest: 16th June, 11am-5pm
Our annual “Ecofest” will soon be here, and this year our theme is ‘local food’. We’re looking forward to promoting local producers and growers, together with all the usual fun, speakers, children’s activities and musical entertainment that fill the day for everyone. Messy Church will take place at 2pm.
For the first time we are rounding off the day with a ceilidh at 4pm, to which all are welcome – the Scrumpy Badgers will be playing and calling.
As pics from last year show below, we have often been blessed with some fab weather for this event – but even when the skies turn grey, spirits are not dampened, so do come and join us! (For more information, you can look at our flyer here.)
